St Ives Holidays General Information

The following are for guidance only. In all cases the Booking Conditions have priority and must be read as well.

Arrival and Departure Information

Office Opening Hours

Our office opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays and most bank holidays.

Where do I pick up my keys?

The majority of keys are stored in a keysafe at the property. Details about this, or other key collection arrangements that may apply, will be sent to you before your holiday.

When can I get my keys?

Keys are available from 3pm. If you arrive early, please pop into our office and leave a mobile number with us. If your property is ready before 3pm we will contact you.

After 5pm and on Sundays keys are automatically taken across to the Queens Hotel opposite our offices who have kindly agreed to hold our keys until 9pm.

If you anticipate arriving after 9pm we suggest contacting DJ Cars (01736 796633) who will collect your keys from us and meet you with them. They will make a small charge for this. We regret that any keys not collected by 9pm will not be available until 9am the following morning.

Car Parking

For information relating to parking in St Ives, please click here.

I am arriving by train/coach, Can I arrange for a taxi to pick me up?

Yes.  Please contact DJ Cars on 01736 796633.  They can collect your key from us first and then collect you from the station when you arrive if you ask them. They will make a small charge for this.

Where can I leave my luggage?

If you arrive before your property is ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage at our offices.

Vacating your property on the day of departure

All properties MUST be vacated by 10am on the departure day.  Keys must then be handed back to our office by 10.30am that day.  We are afraid that this cannot be extended as properties must then be prepared for the next visitors.

Where parking is provided with the property, this must also be vacated at 10am.

Cleaning

Although properties are cleaned between bookings you are expected to keep and leave the property in a clean and tidy state.

What happens if I have a problem while I'm here?

St Ives Holidays is a customer focused company. If you have a problem while you are staying with us and require assistance call into our office or ring us on 01736 794686.

Outside office hours please contact the oncall member of staff. The number is provided in the booklet you receive with your keys.

Your Booking

Priority rebooking… we’ve changed things up a little

You may remember previously rebooking the holiday home you just stayed in using a little printed form.

We’re delighted to announce that we’re trying to do our bit for the planet, so have decided there will be no more little printed forms because we’ve gone digital! But don’t worry, these changes make it even simpler for you.

What happens now?

Every year in June we release the next 12 months of availability for all our holiday homes. We don’t announce this information to the public via our website until July. This gives you, as our wonderful, loyal customer until the end of June to priority rebook the holiday home where you just stayed.

So as a previous visitor to this holiday home, you’ll become one of the first to know when it’s available to rebook!

What do you need to do?

You don’t have to do a thing. We’ll send you an email (or letter if we don’t have your email) in June. We’ll let you know that the holiday home has renewed with us again for next year and details on how to make your priority rebooking.

Short breaks

St Ives is the perfect destination for a short break. Please search online for short stays or contact one of our team who will be happy to help you.

If you would like to take a short break please contact us where our staff will be happy to help you. We offer short breaks of three-six nights all year round in almost all of our beautiful cottages. Whatever the time of year, and no matter how long you can spend here, we’re sure to have something to suit.

Short breaks are charged as follows: 75% of week price for 3 nights; 80% of week price for 4 nights; 85% of week price for 5 nights; 90% of week price for 6 nights.

Changing a booking

Once a booking has been confirmed the booking cannot be changed to another property except by dealing with the booking as a cancellation (see cancellation). The dates of a booking may be changed within the same calendar year if available and the owner agrees in which case a transfer fee of £15.00 will be payable.
